Phoenix Alternative Music -
Listen To Something Different
Phoenix Alternative Music was set up after Exit Hate supported a far-right musician to walk away from extremism.
Wanting to give something back, the project was initially set up with Phoenix GB, releasing Final Solution. A no-holds-barred song, which looked at involvement in far-right extremism and its impact on individuals involved, their families and the communities activists live in.
Today, Phoenix Alternative Music is a non-profit community project which allows Former activists to create music however they want to raise awareness of the impact of extremism, but it also helps former activists release their feelings and show what they are thinking today, what involvement is like and how people can change with support.
Operating as collectives, many individual music projects do what they can when they can, and this webpage is updated as and when new music is created.
If you like what Phoenix does, please let others know and share the music. If you can create music, then why not produce some music and send it to us, including lyrics to info@exithate.org , Exit Hate will then pass your email onto us.
Please list Phoenix Alternative Music as the email header, and we will be in touch as soon as we can.

Partnership working to help people start again...................
Helping people walk away from hate is hard, but music is universal and a great method to get people to re-evaluate their lives and look forward.
One band that understands this is Omega Tribe, who, when asked, had no hesitation in allowing us to use their music to challenge extremist narratives and show people there is a better life available to them if they want to walk away from hate.

The Phoenix Is Rising.......
Supporting people to walk away from extremism, Phoenix Alternative Music is an independent community project which assists people who have been involved in extremism to release music that will help people understand individuals' journeys into extremism, and we hope, help others to walk away and start again.
If you have music that you would like to share, please email the MP3 file of your music and any artwork, such as a playlist cover, to: info@exithate.org with the header -
Phoenix Alternative Music.
This will then be forwarded on to a PAM representative, and we will respond as soon as we can.
Supportive of this project, Exit Hate creates a safe space to talk about the damage involvement in extremism has on people.

Jeff Hunter with Roger Kellaway
At 82, Jeff Hutner is releasing his first CD with his friend and jazz legend, Roger Kellaway. This collection of originals and standards is a reflection on life and love. This album was born not to entertain, but to hold.
Not to fix, but to remind.
If you’re in the space between what was and what might be,
this is for you.
