Are you a parent, family member or a loved one and have found yourself stuck in the centre of a hell that is based on radicalisation and extremism and are experiencing one or more of the following.
Constant arguments,debates and disagreements about your differing opinions.
Frustration and despair about your inability to get through to the person involved.
A breakdown in your relationship with the individual involved.
Feelings of tension or dread in the home, or at the prospect of a potential encounter with them.
Fear for their, and your safety, and fear for their future.
Shame, embarrassment and isolation due to your loved ones opinions, views and behaviour.
Fear that others in the family may take on their extreme views and opinions.
Concern about the decline in their or your own physical or mental wellbeing
A breakdown in your own personal relationships due to your loved ones views and opinions and disagreements on how to handle the situation.
Judgement from others and the fear that they hold you responsible and that you have the same views.
Coming from a lived experience, Exit Hate Trust understands what you are going through and therefore we have adapted a caring approach to the support families through communication and care, based on education and understanding.
We realise that those that are dealing with radicalisation and extremism concerns, often need a hands on approach and many need practical advice and support dealing with the day to day difficulties that radicalisation and extremism bring.

Here is how we can help
A Friendly And Non Judgemental Listening Ear - we can where needed offer up to 3 one to one calls or online meetings with a member of our staff that understands radicalisation and extremism from a lived experience perspective..
Practical Support and Advice - Providing a wide range of resources, these will help you to navigate the difficulties that many families and loved ones experience. From challenging behaviour to dealing with confrontations, we can provide you advice and information to help to deal with these situations.
Tailored Links To Professional Support- We have a large database of support organisations and agencies that we can sign post to that can help you whatever the
problem.
